![]() Since receiving her Bachelor of Arts from the University of Southern Mississippi, Candace Vallot Mannino has used her creative vision and unique brushwork to illustrate the wildlife of the Gulf Coast. Now, in her tenth year of production, she is expanding her business to meet the ever-growing demand! Born in the colorful atmosphere of New Orleans, Louisiana, it is no surprise that Candace first sold her work in the famous New Orleans French Market. A loyal local following grew quickly -collecting as many pieces as she could create. |

Candace first became interested in pottery as a stress-reliever while in college, and later from her office job. Not content with the easy route, she was searching for a history-laden style. Inspired by the 13th century glazing process of Majolica, she experimented until she found just the right technique. For years her work has been popular throughout the South, now expanding into broader markets! The pottery has evolved over the years, but her special charm is ever-present (browse the Gallery). Unmistakable in color and design, it is more exciting and vibrant than ever before. You will notice that each piece is a hand-painted original. Thank you for your interest and we hope that you enjoy Candace's art as much as we do! You may contact Candace directly by clicking here.
